Hudapack has 4 continuous belt furnaces which are specifically designed for austempering. This process is best suited for medium and high carbon steel parts, as well as ductile iron. The benefits of the austempering process are low distortion, improved fatigue strength and high toughness (hardness + ductility) which results from the ausferrite microstructure developed in the austempering salt bath.
